Then this happened..,
And then...
Hail and rain with 80mph winds (according to the weather advisory)
(found them on my balcony. I'm sure they were bigger before impact)
And the highlight of the night:::
What are your weekend plans?
-I'm hoping for a double digit run Saturday morning pain free. then I plan to relax the rest of the time and run more.
Happy Independence day!
Great job on the run! I am glad you got it done before the weather hit.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of long rides planned this weekend and can't wait. Good luck on your double-digit run. I can't wait to hear about it!
Happy 4th!
I hope you got inside before the weather hit!
ReplyDelete**Here is to hoping the weather is PERFECT on October 9 in Chicago! **
Agreed on the TV. Awesome shots! I wonder how bad it would hurt to run in hail...
ReplyDeleteHoly God. That is nuts! I've always wanted to take a pic of lightening. Someday....
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your run in tho!!
I was working last night where I wasn't anywhere near windows to see what was going on, but I heard it was fairly crazy. This morning when I went running along the lakefront there were a lot of trees that were down, one huge tree even uprooted by Navy Pier. Wish I would have gotten a peek at the craziness.
ReplyDeleteYay for a strong 6!
WOW that hail is ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteStorms like that are amazing...they just blow in and it's like someone flipped a switch. We had a storm sort of like that the other night, I loved it.
Congrats on a great run.
Have a happy 4th weekend!!
HOLY COW chicago is crazy! I'm jealous in a way. Crazy weather makes ya feel alive ;).
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Have a nice weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated 4th! The storm was crazy, wasn't it??? At least the weekend was amazing!
